Nampally Court Delivers Major Verdict in POCSO Case

The Nampally Court has delivered a major verdict in a POCSO case registered by the CID in 2015. The court sentenced 33 accused in the case. Five of them were awarded life imprisonment, while three others were sentenced to 14 years in prison and 14 were sentenced to 10 years in jail.

The court also ordered compensation of Rs. 5 lakh each for nine minor girls who were victims in the case. The verdict brings a significant development in the case, which had been under investigation and trial for several years.
