Nalgonda Theft Case Suspect Injured in Police Encounter Near ORR

A suspect involved in multiple theft cases in Nalgonda district and surrounding areas was tracked down in Hyderabad, leading to a police operation on Tuesday. Acting on intelligence, the Nalgonda CCS police team reached the city and attempted to apprehend him near the Outer Ring Road in the Adibatla area.

According to reports, the accused resisted arrest and tried to escape, prompting police to open fire. The injured suspect has been identified as Bhushmi Srikanth from Andhra Pradesh. He was shifted to Vanasthalipuram Hospital for treatment. Officials said he is linked to over ten theft cases and also faces a murder case of a constable in Andhra Pradesh four years ago.
