Nagaraju Custody Verdict Today

In Vijayawada, the court is set to deliver its verdict today on the custody petition of CI Nagaraju. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has sought 12-day custody for further interrogation, while the accused’s lawyers have demanded audio and video recording of the proceedings. The ACJM court is expected to pass orders on the SIT petition.

The SIT is probing the Sai Krishna lockup death case, in which five accused have already been arrested. The remaining suspects are absconding, and searches are underway. The accused have reportedly remained silent during interrogation. Investigators are also focusing on missing CCTV footage and are likely to make more arrests in the case.
