A video involving a Zepto delivery agent and traffic police in Hyderabad has sparked a debate on social media. According to reports, the incident took place on Friday, August 28, when traffic police allegedly towed the delivery agent’s bike after it was parked on the roadside while he went to deliver an order. The agent is seen approaching the officers and pleading with them to let him complete the delivery before taking the vehicle away. He reportedly told the officers that his wife was in hospital and requested them to consider his situation.

The video further appears to show the agent attempting to stop the towing vehicle after being told that the bike could not be released immediately and that he would have to collect it from the police station. At one point, a police officer inside the towing vehicle is seen opening the door and pushing the delivery agent aside. The visuals have drawn criticism from several social media users, who argued that a violation could be dealt with through a fine while also considering the person’s emergency circumstances. However, the complete version of events and the traffic police’s official explanation are yet to emerge. The reason for seizing the bike and the circumstances surrounding the interaction remain to be clarified.
