

Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy inspected the newly constructed Devasthanam staff quarters at Sunnipenta near Srisailam. He stated that the quarters were built with good quality and expressed confidence that employees would soon shift to the new accommodation. The minister assured that all concerns of the staff would be addressed and necessary facilities would be provided.
He said Devasthanam buses would be arranged to transport employees between Srisailam and Sunnipenta in shifts. The minister also stressed the need for additional land for the development of Srisailam. He said the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister had already requested the Prime Minister to allot 4,000 hectares of forest land. The National Highways Authority is examining elevated corridor roads from Dornala and Amrabad to Srisailam.
