The new high-level bridge built across the Musi River at Moosarambagh in Hyderabad is set to be inaugurated on August 31 by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.52 crore, the bridge is 400 metres long and 14.5 metres wide.
The bridge is expected to improve connectivity between Amberpet and Moosarambagh, reduce travel time and ease congestion on existing routes. Dedicated 3.5-metre-wide footpaths have also been provided for pedestrians. Officials are completing approach roads, safety measures, lighting and other finishing works ahead of the inauguration.
