Even during the peak monsoon season, several parts of Telangana are experiencing summer-like weather conditions. Instead of widespread rainfall, the state has been witnessing unusually high temperatures over the past four days, with maximum temperatures ranging between 3°C and 4.6°C above normal.
According to weather observations, Bhadrachalam and Khammam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37°C. The unexpected rise in temperatures is being attributed to weak rainfall activity and prevailing dry atmospheric conditions. Weather officials are closely monitoring the situation and expect temperatures to moderate once rainfall activity increases across the state.
