Modi’s Interesting Remarks at the Launch of Kovind’s Autobiography!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Gen Z to choose meaningful paths in life and avoid shortcuts that could derail their growth. Speaking at the launch of former President Ram Nath Kovind’s autobiography, ‘Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggle’, in New Delhi, Modi said the urge to reach goals quickly should not lead young people towards questionable shortcuts. Referring to railway warnings against crossing tracks, he said such messages also offer valuable lessons for life. In the age of social media and influencers, Modi advised young people to carefully choose their role models and read the autobiographies of people they admire to learn from their experiences.

Modi also recalled his long association with Ram Nath Kovind and praised his simplicity and resilience. He said the difficulties Kovind faced during childhood, including losing his mother in a fire, made him stronger rather than holding him back. Kovind recalled his childhood in a village in rural Kanpur and said he learned values such as love and compassion from his fellow villagers. He also spoke about the influence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Modi on his life. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla praised Kovind as an embodiment of determination. Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant and several Union ministers attended the event.
