A series of powerful earthquakes in Venezuela has caused massive loss of life and property, with at least 32 people dead and around 700 injured, according to interim President Delcy Rodríguez. In the capital Caracas and surrounding regions, several buildings collapsed, trapping many people under debris, and officials warn the death toll may rise further.
Global leaders have expressed concern and support for Venezuela. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed condolences and assured assistance during this difficult time. U.S. President Donald Trump also stated that America is ready to provide immediate aid, with relief agencies already mobilized to assist rescue operations.
