Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and several other ministers are set to travel using the newly introduced common pass for Hyderabad Metro and TGSRTC buses. The special journey will begin from Begumpet Metro Station at 10 am, with the ministers travelling by Metro to Jubilee Hills Check Post and then taking an RTC bus to the Secretariat. The initiative is aimed at giving ministers an opportunity to directly interact with commuters and understand their experiences, concerns and suggestions.
The Telangana government has launched the integrated pass to make public transport more convenient and improve connectivity between different modes of travel. As part of the initiative, Bhatti Vikramarka purchased common passes for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and 15 ministers. The government has said it is focusing on strengthening first-mile and last-mile connectivity and integrating public transport services through technology.
