

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh has taken immediate cognizance of the tourist boat accident in Vietnam following reports that several tourists from Andhra Pradesh may have been involved in the incident. He held discussions with senior officials at AP Bhavan in New Delhi as well as state government officials to gather detailed information about the situation. Officials informed the minister that the affected individuals were part of a leisure trip and that they were maintaining constant communication with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam.
Lokesh directed officials to work in close coordination with the Central Government and the Indian Embassy to ensure timely assistance for the affected tourists and their families. He instructed AP Bhavan officials to extend all possible support and monitor the situation continuously. The minister emphasized that the state government would take every necessary step to assist Andhra Pradesh residents affected by the tragedy.
