

Violence has erupted once again in Manipur, where suspected militants attacked vehicles in Kangpokpi district, leaving three people dead and several others injured. The incident took place between Kottim and Kotlen villages, officials said. Members of the Thoudam Baptist Association were returning from Churachandpur when they were targeted in the attack. The deceased have been identified as Pumthang, Pastor Paugoulen, and Pastor Kaigolun.
According to the Kuki Students Organisation, all the victims were Baptist church leaders belonging to the Kuki community. They were returning after attending a conference in Lamka when the attack occurred. Senior police officials, along with security forces, rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation. Authorities have launched a combing operation to apprehend those involved in the attack.
