Mercedes-Benz and BMW continued to dominate India's luxury car market during the first half of 2026 (H1 2026). According to the latest sales figures, Mercedes-Benz India topped the segment with 9,768 units sold, while BMW Group India followed closely with 9,075 units. Audi India, meanwhile, recorded sales of 2,182 units during the same period.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) secured the third position with 3,039 units sold, outperforming Audi. Industry analysts attribute the strong performance of Mercedes-Benz and BMW to their diverse product portfolios, premium brand value, and steadily increasing demand among luxury car buyers across India.
