Mercedes-Benz India Clarifies E20 Fuel Compatibility After Saurav Joshi's Viral Mileage Claims

Mercedes-Benz India has issued an official clarification after a viral video by YouTuber Saurav Joshi sparked discussions about fuel efficiency and E20 petrol. The company stated that all its BS-VI petrol vehicles are fully compatible with E20 fuel and have received all the necessary certifications from the relevant regulatory authorities.

The clarification comes after claims suggesting that the use of E20 fuel significantly reduced vehicle mileage. Automobile experts, however, pointed out that fuel efficiency observed in heavy city traffic should not be treated as a measure of a vehicle's overall performance.
