Cockroach Janta Party has become a major viral trend across Indian social media platforms. Launched on May 16, 2026, by former AAP social media worker Abhijeet Dipke, the satirical movement reportedly emerged after controversial remarks made during a Supreme Court hearing about unemployed youth and online activists. The platform uses humor and memes to reflect Gen-Z frustration over unemployment, exam paper leaks, and growing distrust in institutions.
Promoting itself as the “Voice of the Lazy & Unemployed”, the movement claims to have received thousands of online sign ups within days. Its manifesto includes demands such as judicial reforms, banning political defectors, and 50 percent reservation for women in Parliament. Although the group currently exists only as an online satire movement, it has sparked widespread discussions about youth anger and political frustration in the country.
