MeeTicket App to Bring RTC, Metro, Auto and Cab Services Under One Digital Platform

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), in collaboration with MeeSeva, is developing an innovative digital platform called ‘MeeTicket’ to make public transportation more convenient and seamless for passengers. The app aims to bring major transport services, including RTC buses, Metro trains, autos and cabs, under a single digital umbrella. Passengers will be able to book an RTC or Metro ticket and simultaneously reserve an auto or cab to reach their final destination through the same platform, creating an integrated travel experience.

The app will also feature a streamlined digital payment system through which the fare paid by passengers can be automatically transferred to the respective transport departments or service partners. Auto and cab drivers, along with other transport providers, can join the platform as partners and offer services directly to passengers. Meanwhile, TGSRTC has clarified that reports claiming the corporation plans to purchase and operate its own autos are false. The RTC management said it has no proposal to buy or operate autos independently, either at present or in the future, and urged passengers and auto drivers not to be misled by such reports.
