The hearing in the Medigadda Barrage case has been adjourned to September 9 by the Jayashankar Bhupalpally District Court. The court has ordered that fresh summons be issued to former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, as the summons issued earlier were reportedly not served on him.
The case proceedings are continuing despite the death of the original petitioner, Rajalingamurthy. The High Court had earlier directed that the proceedings in the case should continue. The district court will take up the matter again on September 9.
