Medical examinations have begun for Chandrika, a young girl from Rajiv Colony in Mulakalacheruvu of Annamayya district, who has been suffering from a rare and unexplained illness. Following media reports highlighting her condition, Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav responded and directed officials to ensure she receives proper medical care.
On Sunday, Chandrika was shifted to Tirupati Ruia Hospital in a 108 ambulance under the directions of District Medical and Health Officer Lakshmi Narasayya. A team of specialists examined the child, collected blood samples, and sent a tissue sample from the growth near her eye for further testing. Hospital authorities assured her mother, Vijayamma, that the child would receive treatment along with free food and accommodation during her five day stay. The family expressed gratitude for the timely medical assistance.
