Massive Peaceful Youth March in Delhi on September 5

The national working committee of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced a massive peaceful youth march in New Delhi on September 5, demanding that the Central Government fulfil the assurances it allegedly gave to the youth on July 25. The march will begin at India Gate and proceed towards the Delhi Police Headquarters. According to the party, families of deceased NEET victims and people affected by alleged police brutality will lead the protest.

The CJP alleged that the nationwide youth movement was withdrawn after the government gave assurances, but claimed that implementation of those commitments has since been delayed. The party also referred to the Supreme Court seeking a list of FIRs registered across the country on August 18, alleging that the government had not provided a clear assurance on the issue and that a written commitment on its earlier assurances was still awaited. The CJP has urged Gen-Z youth, students and youth and student organisations to participate in large numbers, stating that its central demand is for the government to honour its word.
