Mansa Devi Temple Introduces Pocketless Kurtas for Priests

The Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar has implemented a new transparency initiative by introducing specially designed pocketless kurtas for all priests serving at the temple. The temple trust stated that the move is intended to ensure better accountability and prevent any concerns regarding the handling of donations and offerings.

In addition, a seven-member monitoring committee has been constituted to regularly oversee the collection and management of donations. Temple authorities said committee members have been assigned official responsibilities, and strict action will be taken if any irregularities are detected. The initiative is aimed at enhancing transparency and reinforcing devotees' confidence in the temple administration.
