Manisha Koirala Appeals for Global Support to Rebuild Nepal

Senior actress Manisha Koirala has made an emotional appeal for international support for Nepal following the extensive damage caused by severe floods and landslides. Born in Kathmandu, Koirala has worked extensively in Hindi cinema and has also acted in several notable Telugu films. Speaking at an international event, she highlighted the importance of tourism to Nepal’s economy and said the country needs visitors to return in order to recover from the impact of recent natural disasters.

Koirala also called for greater assistance from Nepal’s neighboring countries, India and China. She stressed that Nepal needs broad international support for disaster recovery, including assistance with relief efforts and the revival of tourism. She further pointed out that cooperation from neighboring nations in environmental protection and disaster management could play an important role in helping Nepal rebuild and become more resilient to future climate-related disasters.
