

Thirty-one pilgrims from Hyderabad travelling on the Manasarovar Yatra have reportedly been stranded due to adverse conditions. Meanwhile, former DRDO chairman Dr. Satheesh Reddy and his wife are also stranded in Nepal. However, the couple is reported to be safe and staying in the Saga region. According to available information, Satheesh Reddy and his group crossed the flood-affected area on Tuesday morning.
Heavy floods reportedly struck the region just a few hours after Satheesh Reddy’s group had passed through it, bringing relief that they had reached a safer location in time. The couple is currently safe in the Saga region. Concern remains over the 31 Hyderabad pilgrims stranded during the Manasarovar Yatra, while efforts are reportedly underway to provide necessary assistance and monitor the situation.
