A major terror plot was foiled in India after the Gujarat Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested eight individuals allegedly linked to a network associated with the banned terror outfit Jaish e Mohammed (JeM). The operation is being viewed as a significant success for the country's security agencies.
According to preliminary information, the arrested suspects were allegedly planning coordinated explosions at multiple locations across the country. Security agencies are conducting further investigations to determine the extent of the network and identify any additional links or conspirators.
