Major Fire Accident at Pharma Company in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri

A major accident occurred at a pharma company in Dothigudem, located in Bhoodan Pochampally mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, after a reactor exploded. Two workers lost their lives in the incident, while another 12 people sustained injuries. Two of the injured are reportedly in critical condition.

A large fire broke out following the explosion, sending thick smoke into the surrounding areas. Chemical leakage from the company has reportedly intensified the situation, with a strong odour spreading towards Dothigudem and Anthammagudem. Firefighters are working to control the flames, but continued chemical leakage is causing the smoke to spread further. The incident has raised serious concerns among people living in nearby villages. It is also reportedly the second reactor explosion at the company within three months.
