Major DRI Operation in Hyderabad

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) conducted a major operation in Hyderabad and uncovered an alleged illegal sale of elephant tusks. During the operation, officials seized four elephant tusks weighing approximately 17 kilograms in total. The seizure was made in connection with an alleged attempt to illegally sell the elephant tusks.

DRI officials also seized several ivory articles and trophies made from elephant tusks. The operation was carried out as part of efforts to curb the illegal trade and trafficking of elephant tusks and other wildlife products. Further investigation is underway to establish the details surrounding the seized tusks and ivory items.
