Mahindra Clarifies E20 Fuel Compatibility

Mahindra & Mahindra has clarified that all its existing petrol powered vehicles are fully compatible with E20 (20% ethanol blended) fuel. The company said customers can safely use E20 petrol without worrying about engine damage or mechanical issues, putting to rest concerns circulating on social media.

The automaker also explained that vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025, have been specially tuned to deliver better performance, acceleration, and fuel efficiency with E20 fuel. While older models remain completely safe to use, owners may notice only minor variations in fuel economy. The clarification supports the government's clean energy initiative and reinforces confidence in ethanol blended fuels.
