Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited social activist Anna Hazare at a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. He spoke to Hazare and enquired about his health condition. State minister Girish Mahajan also accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.
Fadnavis wished Hazare a speedy recovery and expressed hope that he would live a long life. During the meeting, the Chief Minister also informed him that the state Cabinet had approved the Kukdi water resources project. Hazare reportedly expressed happiness over the development. Hazare, who is 89, has been undergoing treatment after an infection, while doctors said his condition has improved and remains stable.
