Maharashtra ATS Busts Drug Network

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has carried out a major operation against an alleged inter-state drug network, reportedly seizing methamphetamine and other materials valued at around Rs 9.4 crore. The operation began with the arrest of a suspect in Mumbai’s Bandra East, where investigators seized methamphetamine worth approximately Rs 4 crore. The subsequent interrogation reportedly led the ATS to a suspected drug manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Acting jointly with the Uttar Pradesh Police, ATS teams conducted raids in Greater Noida and seized another 2.68 kg of methamphetamine valued at around Rs 5.40 crore. Drug-manufacturing raw materials and equipment were also recovered from the premises. The combined seizures are estimated at around Rs 9.4 crore, and further investigation is underway to trace the wider network and identify other individuals allegedly involved.
