BJP leader Madhavi Latha has reacted to the controversy surrounding Success The School in Hyderabad’s Old City, where a teacher was removed from service following allegations that Islamic verses were assigned as homework to a Class 2 Hindu student. She questioned the need to politicise the issue and said such incidents should not be used for political gains.
Madhavi Latha appealed to the school management to reconsider the teacher’s dismissal, stating that her family depends on her income. She also acknowledged the concerns of the student and her family, while stressing that no religious beliefs should be imposed on students. She said educational institutions should focus on modern education, science and technology rather than religious teachings.
