

A trough and cyclonic circulation formed over the Bay of Bengal are likely to develop into a low-pressure area over the next 48 hours, according to APSDMA. Due to its impact, several parts of Andhra Pradesh are expected to receive thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and moderate rainfall. Coastal Andhra is likely to witness rainy conditions till Thursday, while Rayalaseema may experience showers till Tuesday.
The weather department has issued warnings for strong winds ranging between 30 to 50 kmph in Manyam, Alluri Sitharama Raju, Polavaram, Anakapalli, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Nellore, Chittoor, and Tirupati districts. Residents have been advised to remain alert and avoid venturing outdoors during thunderstorms and lightning activity.
