

The University of London is working towards establishing a campus in Hyderabad, its representatives informed Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The development was discussed during a roundtable meeting at Senate House in London, where the Chief Minister led the Telangana Rising delegation. Industries and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with government officials K. Ramakrishna Rao and Jayesh Ranjan, participated in the meeting. Representatives from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the School of Oriental and African Studies were also present.
The proposed Hyderabad campus is expected to offer a wide range of academic courses and programmes through various schools and departments of the University of London. The representatives explained that the initiative would connect different academic divisions of the university through a common academic federation. The proposed campus is being viewed as a significant step towards strengthening Hyderabad’s position as an international education hub and expanding opportunities for students in Telangana.
