Locals Seek Janasena ZPTC Ticket for Telagamsetti Shyamala in Kothapalli

The selection of the Janasena Party’s candidate for the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) seat in Kothapalli, under Pithapuram constituency in Kakinada district, has become a topic of local discussion. Some residents and party supporters are urging the leadership to consider Telagamsetti Shyamala for the ticket. They point to her family’s association with the party since its formation in 2014 and the work of Telagamsetti Venkateswara Rao, who, according to his supporters, has remained committed to the party’s principles while engaging with people at the grassroots level.

Supporters say Venkateswara Rao has worked to help people facing difficulties, raised farmers’ concerns with Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, and supported women and young people in the community. They argue that grassroots leaders and workers who have consistently contributed to the party should receive recognition. On these grounds, local residents are appealing to the party leadership to consider Shyamala’s candidature. However, the Janasena Party has not officially announced its candidate for the Kothapalli ZPTC seat, and its final decision remains awaited.
