

The Telangana government is reportedly considering conducting the second phase of local body elections in December. The election process is likely to begin after the completion of the Special Intensive Revision process related to electoral rolls. The government is considering holding elections in December for the Cyberabad, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Warangal and Khammam municipal corporations.
Elections that were postponed in Achampet, Mandamarri, Manuguru, Nakrekal, Kothur and Siddipet due to various reasons are also likely to be held during the same period, according to reports. However, the government is yet to officially announce the election schedule and dates. The final decision is expected to depend on the completion of the voter-list revision process and other administrative preparations.
