Liquor Shops in Delhi to Remain Closed for Two Days

The Delhi Excise Department has ordered all relevant retail liquor shops in the national capital to remain closed on October 9 and 10, 2026. Shops operating under L6, L6 & L6 FG, L8, L10, and L8 & L14 licences will remain shut for the two days.

The decision has been taken based on inputs received from the Delhi Police. The Excise Department has directed the concerned licence holders to comply with the closure order and ensure that liquor sales remain suspended during the specified period.
