Indian security forces have achieved a major breakthrough in Jammu and Kashmir by eliminating Pakistani terrorist Yasir, a Lashkar-e-Taiba operative, during Operation Ashdar. According to the information available, Yasir was allegedly a key associate in five major terrorist attacks targeting Indian Air Force personnel and civilians. He was also reportedly linked to terror incidents in Poonch and Baramulla.
Following the encounter, security forces have launched an extensive search operation in the surrounding forest areas to locate other terrorists who may be hiding there. The operation is being carried out as part of intensified efforts to track down remaining members of the terror network and prevent further attacks in the region.
