Language No Bar for Complaints: Hyderabad Police Launch AI Cop Writer App

Hyderabad City Police have launched India’s first AI-based multilingual complaint registration app named ‘AI Cop Writer’. The app was inaugurated by Hyderabad CP VC Sajjanar at TGICCC in Banjara Hills. It allows citizens to speak in their native language, which is instantly converted into text and translated by the system.

The app supports over 10 Indian languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, and Marathi. It also features automatic PDF generation, multi-party speech labeling for complainant, accused, and witnesses. The initiative aims to provide seamless police services without language barriers, especially for migrants, tourists, women, and senior citizens.
