Fencing work for around 650 acres of land in Bahadurguda, Shamshabad, is continuing amid protests by farmers. HYDRA officials reportedly removed the farmers’ protest camp during midnight and installed fencing around the area where the agitation was being held. Police have taken control of the location and deployed security to prevent outsiders from entering.
The dispute is related to the allocation of land for the proposed bullet train project. Farmers are demanding compensation according to the current market value or alternative land in exchange for their properties. The issue has led to growing tension between authorities and affected farmers.
