Kurnool to Be Developed as a Prestigious Drone City – Union Minister Rammohan Naidu

Kurnool is set to emerge as a prestigious Drone City, with Orvakal playing a key role in the region’s industrial and aviation development, Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu said. He highlighted the importance of Kurnool Airport in the development of Orvakal and said the government is focusing on strengthening aviation infrastructure in the region.

Rammohan Naidu said Kurnool, Kadapa and Rajahmundry airports would be developed further to improve connectivity and support regional growth. He also said the aviation sector is creating wide-ranging opportunities for the youth. The Orvakal Drone City is being developed as an integrated hub for drone manufacturing, research, testing, certification and training.
