BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) strongly criticized the Telangana government, alleging that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy backed out of a proposed public discussion with the BRS. KTR claimed that BRS leaders had assembled at Telangana Bhavan as scheduled, but alleged that the ministers who had issued the challenge did not turn up. He further stated that former minister Harish Rao and other BRS leaders were detained by the police while attempting to proceed towards Gun Park.
KTR demanded that the state government convene a special session of the Assembly to discuss the performance of the government over the past 30 months and other public issues. He also called for the immediate release of Harish Rao and the other detained BRS leaders. These remarks reflect KTR's political allegations and demands. The Telangana government has not officially responded to these claims.
