KTR Sends Legal Notice to Deccan Chronicle

Lawyers representing BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) have issued a legal notice to Deccan Chronicle over an allegedly defamatory news report published on July 8, 2026. The notice states that the front-page article titled "KTR's 'Landlord' Builds Tower in Hussainsagar" was published with false and baseless allegations intended to damage KTR's reputation.

The legal notice alleges that the report wrongly linked building permissions near Hussainsagar with KTR's Janwada farmhouse property. It demands the immediate removal of the article and all related digital links, along with an unconditional public apology within 48 hours. The notice also warns of civil, criminal, and defamation proceedings if the demands are not met.
