Speaking at Gun Park, BRS working president KTR launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, alleging that it came to power by making a series of promises and subsequently failed to deliver them. He claimed that Congress had promised to implement 420 assurances within 100 days and had even given them in writing, but alleged that the government had failed to fulfil them even after nearly 1,000 days. KTR said the party would question the government during the Assembly session as directed by KCR.
KTR said the BRS would raise issues concerning farmers, Singareni workers, auto drivers, government employees, Anganwadi workers, surveyors and polytechnic students. He said the party would question the government over fee reimbursement dues, GO 97, properties being placed on the prohibited list and alleged land allocations. KTR also demanded that the Assembly session be conducted for a month to enable a detailed discussion on issues affecting all sections of Telangana.
