Former Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) stated that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had initiated the construction of TIMS hospitals with an investment of ₹1200 crore each, aiming to match corporate hospital standards. After interacting with patients regarding medical services at the Sanathnagar TIMS hospital, KTR addressed the media along with local MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders. He emphasized that these hospitals were envisioned to provide high-quality healthcare accessible to the public.
KTR pointed out that TIMS hospitals were planned across all four directions of Hyderabad and alleged that if the previous government had continued, the projects would have been completed two years ago. He urged the current government not to delay progress for political reasons and to complete the pending works at Sanathnagar, Alwal, LB Nagar, Gachibowli TIMS, MGM Warangal, and NIMS expansion projects at the earliest, ensuring better healthcare access for citizens.
