BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) announced a week long campaign from September 2 to highlight what the party describes as the Congress government’s failures and unfulfilled promises during its 1,000 days in office. Speaking during a teleconference with senior leaders and elected representatives, KTR directed party workers to take the government’s alleged failures and the problems faced by different sections of society to the public through a series of programmes.
KTR alleged that Congress came to power by making several promises, including implementing six guarantees within 100 days, but had failed to fully deliver on them even after 1,000 days. He called on MPs, MLAs, MLCs, party leaders, constituency in-charges and former public representatives to participate in the campaign. BRS cadres have been asked to organise programmes at constituency, mandal, village and ward levels and highlight what the party calls the government’s administrative failures, corruption and unfulfilled commitments.
