

Telangana minister Konda Surekha has left for Delhi and reached Shamshabad airport ahead of meetings with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal and Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy are already in Delhi. Party sources say Surekha’s issue is likely to figure in discussions with the Congress high command.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud are also expected to travel to Delhi. The Congress high command is likely to discuss the PCC disciplinary committee’s report concerning Surekha and other internal party matters. With several senior Telangana Congress leaders converging in the national capital, the developments surrounding Surekha and the state party unit have drawn considerable political attention.
