

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy inaugurated the Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway Station and marked the occasion by purchasing the first railway ticket with his own money before undertaking the inaugural journey. Prior to the inauguration, he visited the renowned Komuravelli Mallanna Temple, where priests led by chief priest Mahadevuni Mallikarjun welcomed him with Purna Kumbha honours. The Minister offered special prayers to Lord Mallanna before proceeding to the railway station.
After flagging off the train services, Kishan Reddy travelled to Gajwel Railway Station along with Medak MP Raghunandan Rao, South Central Railway officials, and other leaders. Following the programme, the delegation returned to Hyderabad by road. The inauguration is expected to improve rail connectivity for devotees visiting the famous pilgrimage destination.
