

Union Minister Kishan Reddy held a meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at Rail Bhavan to review the progress of railway projects in Telangana. The discussion focused on ongoing developments, new projects, electrification works, and future expansion plans in the state.
The meeting also covered the development of 42 major railway stations in Telangana and improvements to the MMTS system, which is a key transport service for Hyderabad and surrounding regions. Kishan Reddy requested better regularization of timings and enhanced passenger facilities, to which the Railway Minister responded positively, assuring a dedicated review and necessary improvements. Discussions were also held on new railway lines and high-speed rail corridor projects. The Railway Minister reiterated the Centre’s commitment to strengthening railway infrastructure in Telangana under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
