Key Meeting Between Karnataka Leaders and Chandrababu Naidu

A delegation from Karnataka is set to visit Andhra Pradesh today and will meet Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The team is expected to formally invite him to attend the inauguration of the newly constructed gates at the Tungabhadra Dam. This visit highlights the continued coordination between the two states on key irrigation infrastructure.

Last year, on the 19th, a gate of the Tungabhadra Dam was washed away, prompting both state governments to jointly replace all 33 gates. Now, the Chief Ministers of both states, N. Chandrababu Naidu and D. K. Shivakumar, are scheduled to inaugurate the new gates on the 25th of this month, marking a significant step in strengthening water management infrastructure.
