Police have made significant progress in the murder case of Chandranath Rath, the personal assistant (PA) of West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari. Authorities have detained three individuals from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in connection with the case and reportedly brought them to West Bengal for further interrogation late at night.
Investigators tracked the suspects after one of them made a UPI online payment at a toll plaza, which helped officials trace their movement. Among those detained, two are from Buxar in Bihar, while the third is from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh, though officials suspect he may have been residing in Buxar as well.
