The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) is introducing a new system to improve transparency and accuracy in competitive examinations for police and other Home Department posts. Under the new process, every applicant will be assigned a unique identification number. All details of a candidate, from the application stage until selection or withdrawal from the recruitment process, will be recorded under this ID. A special proforma containing Form-A and Form-B has been prepared for this purpose. The information is expected to play a crucial role in addressing candidate complaints and legal disputes related to recruitment.
Police recruitment involves several stages, including written examinations, physical measurement tests, physical efficiency tests and the allocation of horizontal and vertical cut-offs. Details from the Part-1 application will be recorded initially, while candidates who qualify in the preliminary written test will submit Part-2 applications. Information from the PMT, PET, final written examination and Special Branch verification of the candidate’s background will also be linked to the unique ID. Officials believe maintaining comprehensive records at every stage will help minimize disputes and strengthen the recruitment process.
