

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy announced a series of key railway infrastructure developments while addressing the media. Free Wi-Fi will be made available at all railway stations, and the second phase of the Hyderabad MMTS project is progressing steadily. Additionally, plans are underway to extend the MMTS network up to Yadagirigutta, improving suburban connectivity.
The minister also revealed that the Komuravelli railway station will be inaugurated by the end of this month. Secunderabad railway station is being modernized with an investment of ₹720 crore, while ₹350 crore has been allocated for the development of Nampally station. Furthermore, high-speed rail corridor plans are being considered to connect Hyderabad with Bengaluru, Pune, and Chennai, marking a significant boost to regional connectivity and infrastructure.
